A little more about Joshua.
Born in Neath South Wales, Joshua was a Jerwood Young Artist with Glyndebourne, and between 2015-17 was a member of the Opera Studio at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich.
Since leaving the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2014, he has worked at a number of Opera houses including the Klagenfurt State Theatre, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Bavarian State Opera, Garsington and Scottish Opera. He has worked with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Sir Antonio Pappano, Kirill Petrenko, Omer Meir Wellber, and Simone Young.
Joshua has a passion for singing lieder and concert repertoire, and has travelled extensively performing in some of the worlds most iconic concert halls. Highlights include recitals at the North American Festival of Wales, Wigmore Hall, Nyphenburg Palace, and concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Hall, and the Royal Festival Hall.
Outside of singing, Joshua is an enthusiastic runner, and is known to dabble in cooking.
