Welsh-born Joshua Owen Mills has been described by The Times as a ‘tenor with a gleaming legato.’ He is known for his charming personality on stage and Italianate tenor ring. Joshua has collaborated with major opera houses in Europe, including Bayerische Staatsoper, Staatstheater Hannover, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Aalto - Theater Essen, Norrlandsoperan, Theater Aachen, Garsington Festival Opera, and Jyväskylä Sinfonia.
In the 2022 23 season, he made his role debut as Yonas in Saariahos Adriana Mater at Norrlandsoperan, Sweden. Additionally, he performed Haydn's "Creation" with Jyväskylä Sinfonia.
